US Dollar Slumps To New Multi-month Low Versus Pound

Extending its morning session's downward trading, the US currency declined further against the British pound in New York afternoon deals on Wednesday. At 2:20 pm ET, the greenback dropped to a fresh multi-month low of 1.6183 versus the sterling, which may be compared to yesterday's close of 1.6147.
