European Shares Settles Higher on Hopes Over Expectations


  • European shares ends higher marking biggest daily gain in a month on expectations oversteps would be taken by China and EU
  • Basic resources and construction materials sectors rose 3.3 pct and 3.1 pct respectively
  • FTSEurofirst 300 index of top European shares provisionally closed up 18.51 points, or 1.9 percent, at 993.55.
