Analysts project that in the long term, Bitcoin could reach a value beyond $ 146,000. The reason for this is the crowding out of gold as a defensive asset and an alternative currency. According to experts, in order to match the total investment of the private sector in the main precious metal through exchange-traded funds, bullion and coins, the current market capitalization of the cryptocurrency ($ 575 billion) should grow by almost 5 times.

However, it is important to note that the convergence of volatility between bitcoin and gold will not happen overnight, but will most likely take several years. Therefore, a theoretical value above $ 146,000 should be considered a long-term goal.
