Good day, dear traders! By tradition, it is time to once again fix the profit. Let me remind you that in the last recommendation (dated November 12), I recommended buying GBP/USD according to the following plan:

Yes, we had to wait for a bit – the pound stood in the local flat for 3 days, which is logical, because the sellers until recently believed in the continuation of the downward trend. Of course, in this flat, the buyer was able to accumulate more volumes, and after that, the price finally came out of it, updating on Friday our first target at 1.2897, at which the main profit should be fixed:

However, this is only the first goal, there is also a second – at the price of 1.2975. But I believe that this level will be broken with a high probability because even today there was another bullish impulse. Therefore, if you hold purchases on this instrument, you can safely set breakeven, fix part of the position and expect a breakdown of the second level.
