Shortly after the start our hopes for a good result in the today's stage dissolved. We had to stop and the finding that the culprit was once again the pump seems almost incomprehensible. But it was a fact. Then, of course, we tried to make up for the loss in a chase with all the problems and dangers. Dust, anger, impossibility to overtake, so the final 9th position in the stage under these circumstances is actually a success. Overall, we are in the 11th place with a loss of 36.51 minutes to the first truck. If we don't have to fight with today's issues, the chances of a better result are still alive. But the difficulty of the stages must continue.
What's gonna happen tomorrow? January 1, 2017 - Stage 5: Tupiza – Oruro, total of 683 km, special section for the trucks of 438 km. Even here, we will drive at high altitudes and even here we are in for some dunes. So we all really have something to look forward to.
