Romania's industrial output increased in June from the previous month.

Industrial production rose 4.7% on a monthly basis in June, the National Institute of Statistics said on Monday. Manufacturing production grew 5.1%, while mining output climbed 8.9%. Production of electricity,gas,steam and air conditioning supply decreased 0.4%.

After a seasonally and working day adjusted, industrial production rose 1.9% in June from the previous month, while manufacturing output increased 1.9%.

Year-on-year, industrial production increased 6.7% in June. At the same time, output in manufacturing industry grew 7.3% and electricity, gas, steam and air conditioning supply rose 3.2%. Mining output increased 2.6%. Industrial production increased a seasonally and working day adjusted 4.7%. For the first six months of the year, industrial output grew 5.6% over a year earlier.
