Federal Reserve Chairwoman Janet Yellen headline the Jackson Hole Policy Conference in Wyoming next week, joining European Central Bank President Mario Draghi.

Yellen is expected to talk on the topic of financial stability at the Kansas City Fed's annual symposium, according to the Fed. The ECB has confirmed Draghi's attendance at the event, in which top economists and policymakers will convene. The gathering comes as the Federal Reserve lays out the groundwork to begin unwinding its $4.5 trillion balance sheet and the ECB considers when it will unwind its own massive asset purchases.

Draghi will not give a new policy message during his speech at the Jackson Hole summit, according to sources cited by Reuters in a report. But traders expect that any statement by policymakers at the conference could give clarity regarding how much attention central bankers are giving to the recently weak prices across developed economies.

The Fed's preferred measure of U.S. inflation slid to 1.4 percent in June, while consumer prices in the eurozone stood at 1.3 percent. Both regulators are aiming for 2 percent inflation or somewhere near that ballpark figure.
