Asian shares started the trade for this week on a relatively positive note as market participants get ready for a potentially risky week in the market due to impending chinese and us data.

There‘s caution in the wind as traders await the  official data on China’s Economy on Tuesday. Earlier reports and preliminary surveys show that there will an expansion in growth. The information is expected to be released on Tuesday. US data is also anticipated with the report on nonfarm payrolls arrive on Thursday. Analysts predict that the US economy brought on 231,000 jobs while the unemployed hangs with 5.3%.

Head of research at Asia, Tim Condon, said that the preliminary forecast made by HSBC/Markit Index will from 50.8 to 521.

Japan’s Nikkei and South Korea’s KOSPI Index are both up in the exchange today with a 0.44% increase or 67.10 pips to 15162.10 for the Nikkei and a 0.69% increase or 13.70 pips to 2002.21. Hong Kong’s Hang Seng Index is down by 0.13% or 30.80 pips to 23,190.72 while China’s Shanghai Composite Index advances 0.58% or 11.28 pips to 2048.33.
