2025.04.1808:35:49UTC+00Slovenia Producer Prices Rise Most since August 2023

In March 2025, Slovenia experienced a notable uptick in producer prices, which rose by 1.2% year-on-year. This represents a significant reversal from the 0.5% decline reported in the previous month, marking the most rapid increase since August 2023. The escalation was driven by heightened costs in the mining and quarrying sectors, which saw prices climb by 2.8% compared to February's 2.4%, and the manufacturing sector, where prices increased by 1.1% from the previous 0.7%. The electricity, gas, steam, and air-conditioning supply sector witnessed a rebound from a -4.8% drop to a 1.4% increase. Conversely, the water supply sector experienced a deceleration in price growth, moving from 5.8% to 5.4%. On a monthly scale, March saw a 0.8% rise in producer prices, up from the 0.4% increase recorded in the prior month.
