Weekly Forecast Based on Simplified Wave Analysis for GBP/USD, AUD/USD, USD/CHF, EUR/JPY, EUR/CHF, and EUR/GBP – November 2

GBP/USD

Brief Analysis:

A downward wave has been forming on the GBP/USD chart since September 26. Its structure is developing as an extended flat and is approaching completion. At the time of analysis, the upward segment that began on October 14 has the potential to mark a reversal and, if confirmed, will initiate a new wave in the opposite direction. The price is approaching the lower boundary of the potential reversal zone on the daily timeframe.

Weekly Forecast:

At the beginning of the upcoming week, the pound is expected to complete its move toward the resistance zone levels. A reversal may then develop, followed by the beginning of a downward price movement. The calculated zones indicate the most likely weekly trading range for the pair.

Potential Reversal Zones

Resistance:

  • 1.3450/1.3500

Support:

  • 1.3310/1.3260

Recommendations

Selling: Short positions may become possible with small position sizes once appropriate reversal signals appear near the reversal zone.

Buying: Upward potential is limited, so reducing position sizes would be safer.

AUD/USD

Brief Analysis:

A downward wave pattern has been forming on the AUD/USD chart since the beginning of the year. Its structure is developing as a running flat. The wave has entered the final stage of its formation.

Weekly Forecast:

At the beginning of the upcoming week, the price is expected to continue moving sideways. A decline toward the support zone is highly probable. This may be followed by a transition to range-bound trading. A reversal and resumption of the upward price movement are most likely closer to the weekend.

Potential Reversal Zones

Resistance:

  • 0.7100/0.7150

Support:

  • 0.7000/0.6950

Recommendations

Selling: Downward potential is limited. Short positions may be considered with small position sizes for intraday trading.

Buying: Long positions may become possible once reversal signals from the trading systems being used appear near the support zone.

USD/CHF

Brief Analysis:

The unfinished bullish wave on the USD/CHF chart dates back to April of this year. The wave is developing as one of two possible patterns: a running flat or an extended flat. At the time of analysis, the final part of the wave structure is forming. Since last week, the price has been forming a corrective zigzag after reaching a strong resistance level.

Weekly Forecast:

The downward movement is likely to continue over the next couple of days. A sharp increase in volatility may follow. After the price reaches the support zone, a reversal and resumption of the upward movement are expected. The calculated resistance level marks the upper boundary of the pair's expected weekly trading range.

Potential Reversal Zones

Resistance:

  • 0.8360/0.8410

Support:

  • 0.8190/0.8140

Recommendations

Selling: Downward potential is limited, and short positions carry considerable risk.

Buying: Long positions will become relevant once appropriate signals appear near the support zone.

EUR/JPY

Brief Analysis:

The main direction of the EUR/JPY pair has been determined by a downward wave since April of this year. The final part of wave (C) is developing but remains incomplete at the time of analysis. Last week, the price reached the upper boundary of the potential reversal zone on the higher timeframe. Quotes are moving along its upper edge.

Weekly Forecast:

Over the next few days, sideways price movement with a downward bias is likely to continue, potentially extending to the support zone boundaries. Closer to the weekend, volatility may increase, followed by a reversal and an upward movement toward the resistance zone levels.

Potential Reversal Zones

Resistance:

  • 177.70/178.20

Support:

  • 175.20/174.70

Recommendations

Buying: Long positions may be considered after confirmed reversal signals appear near the support zone on the trading systems being used.

EUR/CHF

Brief Analysis:

An upward wave has been forming on the EUR/CHF chart since March. An unfinished wave structure in the opposite direction began in late September. At the time of analysis, a hidden correction, wave (B), is developing within this structure in the form of a running flat.

Weekly Forecast:

Over the next few days, sideways trading is likely, with the price moving toward the support zone. A transition to range-bound trading is then highly probable, potentially creating conditions for a reversal. By the end of the week, the price is expected to begin rising, potentially reaching the resistance zone boundaries.

Potential Reversal Zones

Resistance:

  • 0.9330/0.9380

Support:

  • 0.9180/0.9130

Recommendations

Selling: Downward potential is limited. Position sizes should be reduced as much as possible, and short positions should be closed at the first signs of a reversal.

Buying: Long positions may become possible with small position sizes once appropriate signals from the trading systems being used appear near the support zone.

EUR/GBP

Brief Analysis:

A downward running flat has been developing on the chart since April of this year. Since late September, the pair has been forming a bearish segment that occupies the position of the final part of the wave structure. At the time of analysis, the price is approaching the upper boundary of the potential reversal zone on the weekly timeframe.

Weekly Forecast:

Over the next few days, sideways movement in the pair is the most likely scenario. A short-term increase in the exchange rate toward the calculated resistance zone cannot be ruled out. A reversal is then expected to form, followed by a resumption of the downward price movement. The calculated support zone marks the potential lower boundary of the decline.

Potential Reversal Zones

Resistance:

  • 0.8370/0.8420

Support:

Selling: Short positions will become relevant once reversal signals appear in the designated resistance zone.

Explanatory Notes: Under the Simplified Wave Analysis (SWA) method, all waves consist of three parts (A-B-C). The latest unfinished wave is analyzed on each timeframe. Expected price movements are indicated by dashed lines.

Important: The wave algorithm does not take into account the duration of an instrument's price movements.
