Technology stocks including Alphabet and Apple pushed US stocks lower Thursday, which comes following the Federal Reserve's rate decision.

The Dow Jones Industrial Average lost around 15 points, closing at 21,359.90, with Goldman Sachs giving the most losses. The S&P 500 tumbled 0.2%, trading at 21,359.90, with IT stocks dropping 0.5%. Nasdaq traded at 6,165.50, down 0.5%.

Stocks of Apple, Amazon, Facebook, and Netflix all ended lower. Snap shares traded at $17 per share, down 4.92%.

Meanwhile, the CBOE Volatility Index, hugely recognized as the best fear barometer in the market, stood near 11.
