The US crude oil futures stretched their losses in electronic trade on Thursday although London-traded Brent crude pulled off to elevate. Crude oil to be delivered in April dropped 44 cents, or 0.4%, to $101.01 per barrel, prolonging Wednesday's 1.8% fall.

However, Brent crude for April increased 18 cents or 0.2%, to $107.94 per barrel, cutting a fraction off its 1.4% loss in the previous trading day. April gasoline remained steady at $2.94 per gallon, while April heating oil slid near to a penny or 0.2%, to $2.99 per gallon.

Natural gas to be delivered in April advanced 6 cents or 1.2%, to $4.58 per million British thermal units 

before the weekly US natural gas inventory report due today.
