In September 2025, the inflation rate in Bosnia and Herzegovina edged up to 4.2%, a slight increase from 4.1% in August. The most noticeable acceleration in price growth occurred in the housing and utilities sector, where prices surged to 2.3% from a mere 0.2% the previous month. Similarly, inflation for furnishings and household equipment saw an uptick, rising to 1.3% from 1.1%. However, there was a deceleration in price increases for food and non-alcoholic beverages, which slowed to 7.8% from 9.2%, and for health services, which decreased to 5.9% from 6.1%. Prices for clothing and footwear continued their downward trend, falling by 7.5% compared to a 5.7% drop earlier. Transport costs also saw a decline, albeit at a slower rate of 0.8% compared to 2.7% previously. On a monthly basis, consumer prices experienced a 0.2% rise, reversing a 0.2% drop in August.
