The Czech Manufacturing PMI climbed to 53.9 in June 2026 from 52.2 in May, signaling the strongest expansion in factory activity since April 2022 and remaining well above its long-run average. Output growth quickened to a three-month high as total new orders rose at the fastest pace since February 2022, supported by stronger domestic demand and the sharpest increase in export orders since January 2022. Employment broadly stabilized following five consecutive months of job losses, while purchasing activity continued to expand and pre-production inventories increased at the quickest rate since April 2022. Supplier delivery times remained severely extended amid disruptions related to the war in the Middle East, driving the steepest rise in backlogs since January 2022. At the same time, input cost inflation eased to a three-month low but stayed historically elevated, and output price inflation also moderated from May’s recent peak. Finally, business confidence edged down slightly from May but remained above its long-run average.
