2026.07.0910:00:00UTC+00Poland’s Consumer Sentiment Edges Higher in July, Thomson Reuters IPSOS PCSI Shows

Poland’s consumer confidence strengthened modestly in July 2026, according to the latest Thomson Reuters IPSOS Primary Consumer Sentiment Index (PCSI) data. The index rose to 49.16 in July from 48.16 in June 2026, marking a month-over-month improvement in household sentiment.

The July reading, updated on 09 July 2026, reflects a comparison with the previous month, in line with the PCSI’s methodology, which tracks how the current month’s sentiment changes relative to the prior month. The June figure of 48.16 itself represented the outcome of the earlier month-over-month comparison between May and June.

While still hovering just below the neutral 50-point line that typically separates pessimism from optimism, the uptick to 49.16 suggests a gradual firming in Polish consumers’ outlook as the summer progresses. Investors and policymakers will be watching upcoming releases to see whether this nascent improvement in sentiment is sustained in the months ahead.
