Argentina’s retail sales at current prices increased by 13.4% year on year in June 2026, reaching ARS 685.4 billion. Clothing, footwear and leather goods accounted for the largest share, with sales of ARS 231.0 billion, followed by sporting goods and clothing (ARS 116.6 billion), and food courts, food stores and kiosks (ARS 116.4 billion). Electronics, home appliances and computers generated ARS 65.3 billion in sales, while furniture, home decoration and household textiles totaled ARS 35.8 billion.

By region, sales in the City of Buenos Aires rose 18.5% year on year to ARS 193.6 billion, and those in the 24 districts of Greater Buenos Aires increased 8.3% to ARS 224.1 billion. In the Pampeana Region, sales climbed 13.2% to ARS 145.8 billion, while Cuyo recorded an 18.3% increase to ARS 49.1 billion. The Northern Region and Patagonia also posted gains, with sales up 11.0% and 17.2%, respectively.
