Indonesian equities were little changed in Thursday morning trade, holding near 6,412 after declines in the previous two sessions. Gains in healthcare, cyclical, and industrial shares were offset by losses in basic materials, financials, and technology stocks.

Investors monitored planned protests in Jakarta later in the day, where demonstrators are urging parliament to pass the Asset Forfeiture Bill to strengthen anti-corruption measures. Market participants also looked ahead to key domestic releases next week, including August inflation data and July trade figures.

Sentiment drew some support from the U.S., where equity futures advanced after Nvidia reported blowout earnings. The chipmaker’s second-quarter revenue more than doubled and exceeded forecasts by the widest margin in two years.

Among individual names, Alamtri Resources gained 3.4%, followed by Indika Energy (3.0%), Darma Henwa (1.9%), and Bukit Asam (1.7%). On the downside, Telkom Indonesia slipped 1.2%, while Bank Negara Indonesia fell 1.1%, Surya Citra Media dropped 1.0%, and Kalbe Farma edged down 0.6%.
