2026.11.0200:30:00UTC+00Thailand’s Manufacturing PMI Inches Higher in October, Signaling Steady Sector Expansion

Thailand’s manufacturing sector continued to expand in October 2026, with the Manufacturing Purchasing Managers’ Index (PMI) edging up to 54.80 from 54.30 in September 2026, based on month-over-month comparison data updated on 2 November 2026.

The rise of 0.50 points keeps the index firmly above the 50-point threshold that separates expansion from contraction, indicating ongoing growth in the country’s manufacturing activity. The latest reading suggests that conditions in the sector improved slightly compared with the previous month, extending the positive momentum seen in September.

As both the September and October readings are well into expansionary territory, the data point to a manufacturing sector that is not only growing but doing so at a modestly accelerating pace, underscoring stable industrial demand heading into the final months of 2026.
