In contrast, output fell in rubber, plastic and other non-metallic mineral products (11.4%), in other manufacturing (6.8%), and in food products and beverages (0.6%).

On a seasonally adjusted month-on-month basis, industrial production rose 2.3% in September, rebounding from a revised 0.3% decline in August.
