Research: Jpy on the Defensive This Morning

Quotes from Societe Generale Cross Asset Research:

-The JPY is on the defensive this morning, posting the worst G10 performances versus both the USD and the EUR. The consolidation in risk sentiment after the G8 meeting, profit taking after huge moves last week that propelled many G10 crosses to oversold territory, and rumours of more BoJ QE ahead of its meeting on Wednesday, all contributed to the JPY's underperformance. However, we don't think it presages a lasting change in trend.
