Yen Rises Versus Majors Amid Machine Orders Data

Following the release of Japan's machine orders data for February at 7:50 pm ET, the yen edged up against its major rivals on Wednesday. Currently, the yen is trading at 80.72 against the US dollar, 105.53 versus the euro, 87.86 against the franc and 128.00 versus the pound.

Reports said that Japan's February machine orders data was up 4.8 percent on month. On yearly basis, the machine orders also increased 8.9 percent.
