Dollar Steady Ahead Of US Pending Home Sales Report

National Association of Realtors' pending home sales report is due out at 10:00 am ET. The index, which is a leading indicator of housing market activity, is expected to have risen 1 percent in March after it declined by 0.5 percent in the previous month.

The US dollar held steady against its major counterparts ahead of the report. As of 9:55 am ET, the greenback was trading at 1.3215 against the euro, 1.6180 versus the pound, 0.9092 against the Swiss franc and 80.85 against the yen.
