Irish Mfg. Pmi up Sharply at 51.2


  • Irish Mfg. PMI was reported sharply up at 51.2 in May from near stagnant 50.1 in April, registering swiftest climb in 13 month
  • Employment index was up at 54.4 v/s 52.9
  • New business index was up 4th time in raw, but pace of climb for the export orders index slipped for the once again  as economies contract elsewhere
  • Input prices continued to rise at a sharp pace, mainly due to higher fuel costs, according the survey
