Japanese Inflation up 0.2 Pct Yy


  • Japan's nationwide core CPI was up 0.2 pct yy in April, but core CPI in Tokyo was down 0.8 pct yy 
  • Both were far lower than BoJ's target of 1.0 pct inflation,
  • However Nationwide CPI  was higher than forecast of 0.1 pct rise while core CPI was lower than 0.6 pct decline expected by markets
