Australian Dollar Strengthens Further Against Majors

The Australian currency spiked up further against major currencies in late New York trading on Friday. The Aussie is presently trading near 82.83 against the yen, 1.0579 versus the US dollar and 1.1626 against the euro from previous session's lows of 82.28, 1.0507 and 1.1683, respectively.
