-The risks to core inflation outlook in Russia appear clearly on the upside and there are rising fears among some of the commentators that Russia is facing serious risks of overheating and run-away inflation.

-While we do expect both core and headline inflation to re-accelerate toward the year end (to 6.0% and 6.3%, respectively) we believe that comparisons to 2007-2008 are far from appropriate.
