Dollar Drops To 2-day Low Against Yen

The US dollar extended previous session's downtrend against the yen in early European deals on Thursday.

The greenback reached a 2-day low of 81.08 against the yen around 4:05 am ET, down from yesterday's 5-day high of 81.70 and more than 0.3 percent from Wednesday's closing quote of 81.35.

The next likely downside target for the dollar-yen pair is seen around the 80.85 level.
