Research: German Inflation Below 10-Year Rates

-German inflation is now well below 10-year rates. We see the same situation in the UK and the US.

-However, most of the other eurozone countries face headwinds, with 10-year rates well above inflation and CDSs at their highest levels ever.

-With the decline in commodity prices and the slowdown in Eurozone economic growth, there is less pressure on inflation.

-This may leave room for an ECB rate cut in H2 12.
